Take 2

The wall hanging  is called Emma's Tree. I got the pattern and the story from another group I am on.  Emma passed away aged 29 from breast cancer her mother made this tree while Emma was having her treatment for her 2 little girls (aged 5 and 6 this year).  Miriam is allowing anyone to make this tree as long as they put Emma's story on the label.  I have the pattern and Emma's story if you would like to make one and Miriam's permission to pass it on to quilters in Australia.
The Christmas Stars are the ones I won in last years VicScquilters Carrum Downs Christmas raffle, I finished the top on Tuesday the day before our Christmas lunch I hope to have it quilted before Christmas Day but the way the hours are flying by I think thats a pipe dream

Fran -- I am so pleased to see your 'Emma's tree' in Australia - they are all over the world and I know Miriam in Ireland who desiged the tree is so happy that the tree is spreading everywhere. I love your tree - isn't it amazing how different each one is from the other.

We could use some of your heat here in Calgary, Canada -- it has been down to
-30 C - for the past two weeks but today, Christmas day, it is only -6.

It is too bad we can't each give some of our weather to each other and balance it out - grin.

Hello there I love the tree and the story and I am a patchwork teacher, I would love a copy of the pattern and story so that I can use it for a quilt project with my girls, they will love it and we will honour it.
